Booking.com was not responding well to my reservation changes, but the desk people were very helpful...First a gentleman at the desk who found we were double booked even though Booking.com could not find the 2 bookings. Later Leticia was able to cancel one of the two nights we were booked for when again booking.com seemed impossible to reach by phone. It was great that they moved us to a balcony room when they did not have the 2 queen ready, which worked out great since it was just the 2 of us. Beautiful jacaranda trees from front entrance. Also walkable to Petco stadium!!

We read the reviews beforehand so we were expecting bad things.. but it we think they must have been old reviews as it seems to have changed! We loved it. The staff were friendly, there was hot coffee and tea available all day, the room was spacious and really clean with a balcony, bed was so comfortable, location was easy to access and safe, what’s not to like!

Room smelled extremely clean as we walked in You should be able to see your car parking lot in most rooms They let us choose floor and if we had a balcony (preface we did check in about 5 minutes earlier then check in time so very early on)

Check-in was very pleasant and a breeze with staff member, Bill. The facility is dated, but the location is walking distance to many places in the Gaslamp. Our room was perfect...quiet with lots of space, and included a balcony with a beautiful view of the city. The bed was also very comfortable.

I liked the location right in down town and when I reserved the room it said no breakfast available but they did give these little to go breakfast which were perfect for the kids. Room was clean.
